The Inaugural Wreck List 👀🍿🧃
I can’t say what it is exactly, but there is something particularly delicious about a good con-story or the insane audacity of founders building multi-million dollar house of cards.
Here’s what’s happening in the world of grifters and shady shit this week:
“A cringe rapper slash Forbes contributor allegedly found with billions in stolen Bitcoin”- This husband and wife duo aren’t exactly the pair you’d expect to launder $1B— but it was in Bitcoin, which feels more on brand. Heather goes by her rapper name Razzlekhan and spits untouchable beats with lyrics like, "I'm a motherf*cking bad bitch... go on, make me a sandmich.. you annoying... like vag itch, so lame.. it's f*cking tragic. Bad bitch, bad bitch, motherf*cking bad bitch (x4)" Edit: looks like we’re getting a Netflix gem out of this one!
(TW- ED) “Influencer Brittany Dawn Sued by State of Texas for Allegedly Misleading Clients with Eating Disorders” - Another married duo, that’s somehow even worse than the first!
“Nothing Sacred: These Apps Reserve The Right To Sell Your Prayers”- Rock bottom continues to be a moving target when talking about companies and user privacy. Thank God for investigative journalism.
“Current And Former ‘Dr. Phil’ Employees Say The Set Is A Toxic Workplace. The Show Says Everything’s Fine”- There’s definitely a trend with companies promoting mental health somehow being the worst offenders. On the same day this piece was published, Buzzfeed also wrote about how a startup providing mental health services to Facebook and Google is in hot water over concerns for privacy and treatment.
In case you’ve missed it:
Everyone is freaking out about the insane Tinder Swindler documentary on Netflix. Since being outed, said Tinder Swindler has also been banned from dating apps. The women featured on the documentary also have an official GoFundMe, we love a good payback (ha).
Welcome back, Anna- Timed with Netflix releasing Inventing Anna, The Cut also updated their exposé on Anna Delvey/Sorokin— a must-read if you haven’t already.

P.S. While we’re obsessed with these stories, we don’t endorse any of these insane behaviors.
