• “WeWork: Shares slide as it raises 'substantial doubt' over future”- Poor WeWork, between Adam Neumann’s mismanagement and COVID, the odds didn’t look great.

• “What the hell is going on with maximalism design TikTok?”- The videos are worth watching, if only for the comments.

• “Amazon Says It Doesn't 'Employ' Drivers, But Records Show It Hired Firms to Prevent Them From Unionizing”- This isn’t even surprising.

• “Woman fired after Work From Home monitoring found she wasn’t typing enough”- I’m not entirely sure who to believe on this one.

• “Musk vows to pay legal costs for users who get in trouble at work for their tweets”- WITH WHAT MONEY, MUSK?

• “Illinois to ban advertising for guns allegedly marketed to kids and militants”- …it feels like some things shouldn’t be counted as wins.

• “Artist Jeffrey Gibson Sues Chicago’s Kavi Gupta Gallery, Alleging He Is Owed More Than $600,000”- Dang, I’m definitely in a tax bracket that forgets art can be so expensive.

• “Accused 'selfie scammer' sued by former lovers”- Barbie wouldn’t want women to send money to men on the internet!

• Celebrity-led schools seem ineffective…

• “MrBeast’s burger company is suing him for $100 million”- I didn’t even realize there was a snack line called Feastables.

• A literal teen riot was started over the promise of 300 free Playstation 5s.

  • “Twitch influencer Kai Cenat streams the chaos and police response caused by his own PlayStation giveaway”

  • “Social media influencer Kai Cenat faces charges of inciting riot after thousands cause mayhem in NYC”

• “Zoom reverses policy that allowed it to train AI on customer data”- Call me jaded, but I’m sure they got what they needed in the meantime.

• 🔏”Jimmy John’s Sued for Drive-Through Voiceprint Data Collection”- I feel a bit insane that it never even occurred to me that those transactions would be recorded.
