With Starbucks’ PSL release dates being leaked (Aug 22), crazy to think that fall is right around the corner. Very excited to start stepping on some crunchy, crunchy leaves!

Check out one of the DefCon hotel blocks pissing off hackers— literally accomplishing the opposite of what they intended to do.

• “Humane’s daily returns are outpacing sales”- Yikes, that’s like a reverse business.

• “Couple charges wedding guests $333 each in effort to save money”- This left me with more questions than I initially had.

• Some animal scoops:

  • “Groundhog found inside claw machine”

• “Will PC makers replace your crashing Intel chip? We asked 15 of them”- Side by side, it’s a nice look at which brands are playing nice vs. the ones that aren’t.

• “USPS Text Scammers Duped His Wife, So He Hacked Their Operation”- Yes, love this intelligent pettiness.

• “A nightly Waymo robotaxi parking lot honkfest is waking San Francisco neighbors”- This is so dystopian.

• “Why are so many car YouTubers quitting?”- This is long but a treat for anyone into the car niche.

• “Call for Buddhists to Stop Donating Energy Drinks to Monks”- It’s been a while since we’ve had one of these unexpected Mad Libs-style headlines.

• “U.S. Skateboarder Nyjah Huston Reveals Poor Condition of His Olympic Bronze Medal: ‘Like It Went to War’”- I love that this dude is taking his medal on adventures.

• “‘Travesty’: How the Olympics’ breaking farce was allowed to happen”- This has to be a giant bit… “She got inspired by her surroundings, which in this case, for example, was a kangaroo." ?!?!

• “Warner Bros. Scrubs Cartoon Network Website, Erasing Years of History”- I hope someone’s capturing this content to preserve it somewhere…

• “Instagram Already Loaded With AI Girlfriends and Boyfriends”— Thanks, I hate it.

• AI is getting (more) chaotic:
