  • “San Francisco says ‘good riddance’ as X prepares to leave”

• “4-year-old accidentally shatters Bronze Age jar at museum”- Dang, that’s a super-chill statement from the museum.

• “Bay Area restaurants are all secretly telling us to 'get the hell out'“- Love a good read about the psychology of businesses.

• “The Trademark Tug-of-War Over ‘Demure’ Shows a Massive Meme Power Shift”- Love influencers cashing in on their trends but curious to see if the memes/catch phrases remain profitable through the lengthy trademark process.

• “California’s Lucidity Festival is cancelled permanently – and nobody is getting refunded”- Music festivals appear to be dicey gambles.

• “Shocking leak suggests your phone really is listening in on your conversations”- Not surprising but I still hate it.

• “Ludacris's gulp of untreated Alaska glacier melt was totally fine, scientist says”- Funny how drinking from a melted glacier sounds delicious but licking one would be gross.

• “Soft toy giant Jellycat accuses Aldi of ripping off its popular £27 design with a £4 alternative”- Yeaah, ok this one’s hard to argue with.

• The kids are (mostly) alright:

  • “Wasteful consumerism has a new worst enemy: Gen Alpha tweens”

  • “Teens are losing interest in school, and say they hear about college 'a lot'“
