“When ‘Bad Vegan’ Sarma Melngailis Accused Louis C.K. of Giving Her an STD”- For those of you already watching Bad Vegan on Netflix, this will come as no shock that this story is bananas and bizarre. Also, Louis C.K.’s email responses are just so gross and horribly awkward.
“Grey’s Anatomy Writer Under Investigation for Allegedly Fabricating Medical History”- Man, lying about having such a horrible medical history is just tempting karma. Why do people do this?
“‘Insider’ Tells Departing Staff To Stop Sending Goodbye Emails”- I understand why HR doesn’t want people sending goodbye emails to a 700 person list-serve, but Gawker picking up the story isn’t great for optics. For those tired of authoring lengthy goodbye emails, can I suggest this gif instead?
“Instagram Influencer Accused of Skipping Out on $40K Bill”- Unsurprisingly based on last week’s Caroline Calloway coverage, she’s being sued for unpaid rent— and she left her apartment in a *state* that honestly has me a bit worried for her metal health.
“ADHD Drugs Are Convenient To Get Online. Maybe Too Convenient”- Speaking of mental health, this is an interesting exposé about the tension between the hockey-stick startup growth and the delicate space of prescribing medication that can drastically influence people’s overall wellness (or lack thereof).
“'I'd rather be in jail than live with my parents.' Fake heiress Anna Sorokin blasts her father after he tells how he indulged her with dance tutors and designer clothes and still gives her money - despite her never once saying she loves him”- While a great look at the childhood of the scammer that inspired Inventing Anna, the best part of this article are all her MySpace-esque selfies.
