This week has me cuing up Dancing For The Devil- because I love a good cult documentary.

• “The trendy prebiotic soda touted by A-listers is misleading consumers, according to a new lawsuit”- Sneaky claim.

• “Mom influencer ripped for asking for donations — after spending $17,000 in one month”- $800 on DoorDash is wild and probably 30% went to the platform’s fees.

• “Influencer's $82,000 demand exposes 'wild' industry: 'The audacity'“- What’s wild is even after this, the influencers often remove the posts from their profiles after a few weeks.

• “Misinformation works, and a handful of social ‘supersharers’ sent 80% of it in 2020”- “2,107 registered U.S. voters accounted for spreading 80% of the ‘fake news’”— I’m sorry, WHAT?! HOW.

• “Apple’s ‘I’m a Mac’ guy returns to promote Windows on Arm PCs”- They took a page from Sprint’s playbook when they got the “can you hear me now?” dude.

• "The Cult of the Provider Man Meet the influencers who urge their followers to marry rich."- The term “sprinkle sprinkle” is so cringe to me.

• “‘Lab shenanigans’: TikTok influencer faked data, feds say”- Shenanigans, indeed.

• “I’m the Child of a Facetune Mom”- This one is a hard, but important read.

• “Alexander Wang sparks controversy with ad using Taylor Swift and Beyoncé look-alikes”- Well that’s certainly a way to instantly cheapen your luxury brand.

• “Madonna sued for ‘pornography without warning’ at LA concert performance”- Turning off the venue’s AC feels like the bigger red flag here.

• “Cannes security guard sued by model accusing her of red carpet ‘assault’”- Can’t say I’d ever take my job that seriously, omg.

• “Plates and wigs fly in Waffle House brawl involving influencer Ekane”- Okay, know the headline says it, but I’m going to reiterate that it’s a full-on BRAWL BRAWL.

• “Brazilian Influencer Devastated She Can't Get Butt Implants After Taking Ozempic”- Aww, look what we found!: 🎻

• “A Tesla investor sued Elon Musk for alleged insider trading”- This would honestly be so unsurprising.

• “X has new rules that officially allow p0rn now”- Bit wild it took so long given Elon’s love for posting of whatever on X…

• “Giambattista Valli Attracts Attention on Chinese Social Media for the Wrong Reason”- Imagine putting down $27,603 as a DEPOSIT on an outfit, omg.

• “Orcas are still smashing up boats – and we've finally worked out why”- I’m rooting for these chaotically cheeky fish mammals.
