Everyone ready for Halloween? I was invited to a Sopranos-themed party and I’m trying to figure out if I could pull together an Ariel costume in time to cause a little bit of chaos…

• “MrBeast’s ‘Lunchly’ Mold Controversy, Explained”- He’s on a roll of bad PR recently.

• “Comedian from 'Anchorman' and 'Mr. Show' sentenced in Jan. 6 Capitol attack”- Oh look, it’s the consequences of your actions.

• “Woman Sues JetBlue After Allegedly Fracturing Tooth on ‘Frozen Solid’ Ice Cream Sandwich During Flight”- Ouuuuch

• “Red, white and arrested too: Patriotic looking man accused of threatening to blow up a makeup store”- That’s certainly a lewk.

• “For High School Age TikTok Influencers, Online Fame Can Bring Real-Life Consequences”- I’m so glad I went to school before social media exploded as much as it did.

• “Turning Pointe: When the progressive A-list clientele of the fashionable workout Ballet Beautiful learned that its founder was married to an architect of Project 2025, many felt shocked and even betrayed”- An interesting read

• “Bizarre twin influencers hired to break divorce news to jilted wife in soul-crushing video”- I would commit murder if I received that.

• “Owner of Kellogg’s Diner Is Being Sued for $10 Million Over Alleged Misuse of Funds”- I didn’t think restaurants were this flush with cash.

• “Remember Delta's July meltdown? The airline is suing CrowdStrike.”- Super unsurprising.

• “Nebraska woman suing McDonald's says E. coli infection landed her in the ER”- An excellent reason to sue.

• “A K-pop star was photographed kissing a woman. Fans decided he should be fired for it.”- This feels very Black Mirror.

• “Todd Chrisley fired from prison chapel job for being too chatty with inmates”- To be fair, probably same.

• “Netflix Closes Its All-Star AAA Video Game Studio, Which Made Zero Games”- It baffles me how brands tackle these undertakings just to then be like “psych”.

• “The CEO of optics giant Olympus has resigned after accusations he bought illegal drugs, sending its shares plummeting”- This is frustratingly vague.

• Not scandalous but interesting reads:

  • “Man Was Missing for a Month in National Park, But His Mom Never Lost Hope. Then He Was Found Alive”

  • “Not just for kids: Goldfish crackers announces name change to appeal to adult snackers”

• 🔏 “Why It Matters That JD Vance's Financial Advisor Posted About Drug Use on Reddit for Years”- Stories like these are always baffling.
