This week has me watching “The Tetris Murders” which seems to be a wild story.

• “Couple Unknowingly Rent RV To “Qanon Queen Of Canada,” Get It Back Trashed”- Here’s a podcast episode detailing the insane roadtrip behavior by this woman, so the RV being trashed isn’t exactly shocking.

• “A Cryptocurrency Named After The Fictional Money In Star Trek Is ‘Worthless’ And ‘A Scam,’ New Lawsuit Alleges”- Ah, seems like this crypto project wasn’t out of this world. Womp.

• “Is Cartier's Love Ring REALLY worth £1,080? Expert unpicks TikTok claim that the cult piece only contains £115 worth of gold”- Once upon a time I did PR for an online pawn shop and realized how much of a premium is paid on a brand name engagement ring. Unless you’re excited about the brand and the iconic piece, the investment isn’t worth it from a raw materials’ cost.

• “Sam Bankman-Fried’s first post-scandal public interview was a riveting train wreck”- Whyyy is he still talking?!?

• “Beyond Meat Is Struggling, and the Plant-Based Meat Industry Worries”- While I’m rooting for Beyond, I admittedly haven’t been buying their products so I’m definitely part of the problem.

• “Spotify Wrapped Is Out And Some Music Fans Have Spent All Year Long Ensuring They Appear As A Top Fan”- Mmm, and this seems like a great time to remind everyone that the popular Wrapped format was an intern’s idea who never got proper credit for the concept.

• “With This Weed, I Thee Wed”- Just remember not to do what this bride did and spike everyone’s food with cannabis without telling them!

• “An art expert has been fired after he valued a Chinese vase at $1,950 that sold at auction for nearly $8 million”- A good article about the speculative value of art… although the difference is wild.

• “‘I’m gonna give you another reason to be extremely mad at HarperCollins’: Author says HarperCollins rebranded her lesbian Jewish romance novel as a Christmas story”- I guess them publishing a progressive book without any corporate shenanigans would have been too much to ask.

• “Is ‘Cocaine Bear’ Really Based on a True Story?”- Click on this piece for “Pablo Escobear” and end up going down a “squirrels on crack” rabbit hole.

• “Liver King, The TikTok Creator Who Eats Raw Bull T3sticle$ For Dinner, Is On Steroids”- Aww he’s disappointed the “Primals.”

• “Oxford word of the year 2022 revealed as 'goblin mode'“- It’s our year!!

• “‘Apple is a cult’: Former Apple employee claims software bug fills up iPhone storage, leading customers to purchase new phones”- This is 1000% believable, it’s also unlikely a coincidence that old models get buggy right around new phone releases.

• “Chris Christie's Niece Kicked Off Plane for Accusing Latino Family of 'Smuggling Cocaine'“- Classy!

• “Slack CEO Stewart Butterfield is leaving Salesforce two years after deal was announced”- With so many prominent execs leaving, something feels amiss.
