Hi Wreckings!

I am SO excited to watch “Desperately Seeking Soulmate: Escaping Twin Flames Universe," — if it’s anything like the podcast, it’s going to be absolutely insanity.

“Okta customers report impact of most recent breach”- I don’t know why I thought they were impenetrable.
“Elon Musk offers $1B to Wikipedia if it changes its name”- Does he not have way more important things to worry about? Like, you know, X’s impressive downward spiral…
“Starbucks accused of assisting boycott of union stores”- #TeamDunks.
If you’re going to only read a couple pieces, these are the two I’d recommend most:
- “The Con, the Con Artist, and Me”
- “How an Art Advisor to the Elite Allegedly Conned Her Client Friends”
“Home Depot employee allegedly embezzled $1.2M in cash”- Omg, that’s so many 12-foot skeletons (no, I have not gotten one yet. Yes, I’m spicy about it.)
“Two YouTubers Fought Over Doxxing Accusation. YouTube Is Being Criticized for Not Intervening Earlier”- Publicly doxxing someone while using the phrase “let’s talk like adults”… nailed it.
“Man goes viral after proudly proclaiming why he doesn’t help his wife with kids or chores”- This man owns a “rapid ramen cooker” (it does not make it cook faster), which tells me all I need to know about him.
“Veteran NYPD officer who boasted about loving her job allegedly sold ‘top quality’ fentanyl, heroin — all while on duty: feds”- “There’s always a bad one or two in the bunch, but that’s not me…” did not age well.
“AI imagines what Americans in all 50 states look like using stereotypical European views”- I… yep.
Mile high drama:
“Twitter influencer sentenced for trying to trick Clinton supporters into voting by text”- I want to talk to whoever fell for this.
“Crypto Influencers and ‘Degenerates’ Flock to Sam Bankman-Fried’s Trial”- Ahem, actually NYT, the term is “degen”
“SBF Made $9 Billion Disappear. This Forensic Accountant Found It”- SBF is the worst.
“Sorry, Selena. Catch Ya Later, Kylie. The Golden Age of the Red-Carpet Influencer Is Over.”- This doesn’t feel like a new revelation but interesting nevertheless.
“Influencer is begging couples to stop giving wedding guests favors with their names on them”- LOVE this alternative suggestion SO MUCH.
“I had a ‘life-threatening allergic reaction’ — I filmed a TikTok instead of using my EpiPen”- In case we were wondering what Darwinism looks like these days.
“Inside the Underground World of Black Market AI Chatbots”- Of course it’s called WormGPT.
🔏 “Former Google CEO Launched A $100 Million Company With His Girlfriend. It’s Not Going Well”- Seems nepotism isn’t everything.
